Trabajo para Entregar: Blog 7 Slips are due –You do not get credit for blogs without turning in the slip to the bin. Restaurant Packet is due / Skit role sheet from presentation is due (I am collecting both).

Las Metas (Objectives): Introduce Unit 5 Goals and Objectives/Begin Vocabulary Practice/ Project Timeline (Country Selection)
La Agenda de Clase:
1. Make a 3 question trivia quiz using the information on pages 38-39. (Include answers so that you can confirm if someone else answers correctly or not.)

2. Look over the picture on pages 40-41. Answer the questions in the Qué ves box on page 40

La Tarea: Copy Vocabulary page 65 with R2 Expansion for 5.1. Prior to break I assigned page 93 with R2 Expansion (I goofed on this because I gave 5.2 vocabulary instead of 5.1 vocabulary). After tonight’s assignment, students should have ALL vocabulary from unit 5 completed (page 65, 93, and all of R2 expansion words).

Trabajo para Entregar: Vocabulary page 65 and R21 (All Unit 5 Vocabulary is done - Page 65, 93, and R2)/ Outline 5.1 Pages 1 and 2

Las Metas (Objectives): Unidad 5, Lección 1: Describing the house and household items; Understanding when to use Ser vs. Estar; Putting things in order using ordinal numbers; Living in Ecuador (people, homes, geography, languages, traditions, foods, places, art, etc…)
La Agenda de Clase:
1. Translate the captions A-E on pages 42-44. You only need the English translations – you do not need to write both Spanish and English – simply translate what you read to English. You are translating the CAPTIONS – You are not translating the blue words found inside the pictures.

2. List your top five choices for your Country project (do this on separate paper – it will be folded and placed in a bag). It must be a Spanish speaking country. Period 2 is the only class that has more than 21 students. That is the only class where 2 students will be assigned the same country. If we have time after course selections are done – we will select countries for Term III projects.

La Tarea: Complete activities 1 and 2 page 45. Write the hints and the answers for both activities as shown in the models.
